Christina: A Medieval Woman

Michael Wood presents a portrait of an ordinary person living through extraordinary times, tracing the life of a real-life peasant of 14th century Hertfordshire, Christina. She lived at a time of war and endured famine, floods, climate change and survived the Black Death, which would claim the lives of half the population.
