Two Moons

We are now on our 2nd draft of Jennifer Johnson's novel "Two Moons" being written for screen by Laura Lamson in co-production with Parallel Film Productions in Dublin. Development finances have come from The Irish Film Board and the European Commission Development Slate Funding.

'Two Moons' is the universal coming of age story of three generations of women and the men in their lives. The oldest, Mimi prepares for death by coming to terms with her past. Grace faces down middle age by clinging relentlessly to her youth. While Polly learns that being an adult means being true to herself rather than to the child her mother wants her to be. Adapted from the novel by Jennifer Johnston, one of Ireland's finest and funniest eyes on the human condition, it's a wry and acerbic tale of love, fear, truth, sex and forgiveness.
